Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Orbit Grid ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the "Orbit Grid: Protocol Zero" mobile application (the "App"). You can play the App without an account. Signing in is optional and is used to back up and sync your progress.

1. Information we collect

• a. If you choose to Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, Apple shares with us a unique user identifier. It may also share the name and email address you choose to provide. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email" option, we receive a private relay address instead of your real email. We never receive your Apple ID password.
• b. Game data. This includes game progress (levels completed, stars earned), app settings, virtual currency balances (Plasma Credits, Beacons), and owned cosmetic items.
• c. Usage and device data (analytics). This includes in-app events such as screens viewed, levels started and completed, purchases, and ad views. It also includes device model, operating system version, app version, language, approximate location (country/city) derived from your IP address, and an app-generated identifier. If you are signed in, that identifier is your account identifier.
• d. Session recordings. For a portion of sessions, the App may record how you interact with its screens. Section 5 describes this in detail.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data.

2. Information stored on your device

The App stores game data and settings locally on your device. If you play without signing in, this data stays only on your device. Uninstalling the App or using the in-app "Reset progress" option permanently deletes it, and it cannot be recovered or moved to another device.

3. Account and cloud storage (Firebase)

When you sign in, we use Google Firebase to authenticate your account (Firebase Authentication) and to store your game data in the cloud (Cloud Firestore). This lets you restore your progress on a new device. Firebase is operated by Google, which processes this data on our behalf. 4. Analytics (Mixpanel)

We use Mixpanel to understand how players use the App. For example, we look at which levels are too hard, where players drop off, and whether features work as intended. Mixpanel receives the usage and device data described in Section 1(c). We use this data only to operate and improve the App. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it. 5. Session Replay

The App uses Mixpanel Session Replay on a sample of sessions. When a session is recorded, periodic screenshots of the App's screens and your taps and gestures are sent to Mixpanel. This lets us replay the session and find bugs and confusing parts of the interface.

• Text, images, and input fields are masked by default. Keyboard input is always masked.
• Recordings capture only the App's own screens, never other apps or anything outside the App.
• Recordings are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically.

6. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Your payment information is collected and processed by them under their own privacy policies, and we never see or store it. We only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed, which we use to grant the corresponding item or balance.

7. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to serve optional rewarded video ads. To deliver and measure ads, Google AdMob and its partners may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID), IP address, general device information, and ad interaction data. They may use this information to serve personalized ads, subject to your device's ad-tracking permissions and settings. See Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

8. How we use information

We use information to:

• provide the App and your account;
• save and sync your progress;
• deliver purchased items;
• analyze and improve gameplay and performance;
• fix bugs and crashes;
• respond to support requests;
• meet legal obligations.

9. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

We process your data on these legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: providing the App and your account.
• Legitimate interests: analytics, session replay, and improving the App.
• Consent: where required, for example personalized ads under your device's tracking settings.

10. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the App:

• Apple: Sign in with Apple, distribution, and payments.
• Google: Firebase, AdMob, and Google Play.
• Mixpanel: analytics and session replay.

These providers may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. We may also disclose information if required by law.

11. Data retention

• Account and game data: kept until you delete your account.
• Analytics data: kept for as long as needed to analyze App usage, subject to Mixpanel's retention periods.
• Session recordings: deleted after 30 days.

12. Your choices and rights

• Delete your account: you can delete your account at any time in the App (Settings → Delete Account). This permanently deletes your account and the game data stored in the cloud.
• Stop using Sign in with Apple: you can remove it via iPhone Settings → [your name] → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.
• Limit ad personalization: use your device's privacy settings.
• Reset local progress: use the in-app "Reset progress" option.
• Other requests: depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to certain processing. Email us at the address below to exercise these rights.

13. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Data security

We rely on the security measures of our service providers (Apple, Google Firebase, Mixpanel), including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
